Sales Administration Director develops and directs the sales data analysis function to deliver reporting and tools to sales teams and management that ensure effective sales execution and the achievement of growth objectives. Deploys CRM and other systems to manage customer and activity data. Being a Sales Administration Director develops monitoring and methodologies to analyze sales metrics and to provide insights, support decisions, and highlight areas for process improvement. Directs research efforts to understand market conditions and competitors. Additionally, Sales Administration Director may enable training activities that will ensure sales teams understand and effectively utilize systems and reporting resources. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Sales Administration Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Sales Administration Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. We are currently managed by the fourth generation of the founding family with sales and manufacturing activities at 42 sites in various European countries, North and South America and in Asia.     ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • The Director of Human Resources for North America (NA) coordinates activities of HR staff within US and Mexico offices. Ensures staff situation to match recruitment demands, customer and company requirements, providing proper training of staff in all HR related activities
    • Ensures regular communication of HR staff to appropriate colleagues within HQ.
    • Director HR North America supports in administrative projects, organization and structure as well as the strategic focus of the North American Plant Group.
    • Responsible for setting vision and strategy for people management.
    • Develop a working knowledge of personnel market situation and new approaches to recruitment and retention
    • Define and transfer standard processes (HR and Strategy) SCHERDELGroup within the NA plants

    Position Requirements:

    • Master’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resource, preferred; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resource, required
    • Ability to speak/understand Spanish (and German), preferred
    • Leadership experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
    • Travel required locally in North America and internationally (Germany)
