Financial Analysis Manager
Charlotte, North Carolina
This position is onsite 5 days a week (M-F)
This is what You`ll Do:
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with corporate policies, generally accepted accounting principles, and international reporting standards.
- Manage special projects as assigned.
- Supervise donor fund activity and account reconciliation.
- Co-ordinate periodic physical inventories and summarization with donor center operations. Coordinate month end inventory reporting and physical inventories with donor center managers.
- Reconcile all donor center petty cash accounts and replenish on a regular basis.
- Work with general accounting manager to coordinate audit matters with corporate and the Company’s outside auditors. Assure annual audit and mid-year review information and schedules are completed on a timely basis.
- Assure compliance and assist Vice President of finance with the development and maintenance of corporate policies and procedures for internal controls.
- Analyze and interpret financial information and provide guidance to management on financial issues. Assure that inventory data and reserves are appropriate for corporate strategies.
- Assist in donor center, operations, G&A and lab budgets, projections, and forecasts to support short and long term planning for all US operations.
- Provide Management with timely and accurate financial information.
- Assist management with merger and acquisition due diligence, as required.
- Provide timely reporting to Octapharma AG as required.
- Review all cross charges with Octapharma Maintain standard costing, including inventory valuation.
This is What is Takes:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Certified Public Accountant certificate preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of ten (10) years experience of a progressively complex nature in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience with accounting transactions, general ledger and financial statement
preparation, budgeting and forecasting, and cost accounting.
- Minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of accounting processes, procedures, and controls in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with a mid-range automated GL/SOP system, including system upgrades and
conversions.
- General knowledge of PC applications with a preference to Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong organizational and prioritizing skills.
- Ability to effect clear and concise written and oral communications.
- Ability to travel overnight up to approximately five (5) days per month.
- Ability to lead, supervise and mentor staff to effect improvement.
