SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to ensure the data quality of the MTA PD records systems and to manage the analysis of crime data, staffing data, and all other data analytics related to the MTA PD (crossing accidents, enforcement operations, etc.). The Manager will direct the preparation of reports and dashboards for Command Staff, which will allow for a more efficient use of staff and resources. The manager will also ensure and oversee data integrity with incident reporting throughout the agency and ensure timely and accurate submission of National Incident Based Reporting System (NIBRS) data to the New York State Division of Criminal Justice and the state of Connecticut.
