Sales Director directs sales organization operations and develops the tactics, operational plans, and processes to implement the organizational sales strategy, drive revenue growth, and accomplish financial objectives. Establishes and implements processes, tools, and structures to support the sales organization's operations. Being a Sales Director oversees goal setting for departmental and group levels of the sales organization and uses data and technology to measure and monitor sales processes, identify issues, and enhance performance. Implements methods and systems to effectively analyze and monitor the industry, business environment, and competitors and expand the customer base. Additionally, Sales Director uses market and customer insights to collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and suggest new products. Builds effective sales and support teams with recruiting, mentoring, and development programs. May personally participate in or negotiate strategic or high-value sales. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Sales Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Sales Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     This position will be responsible for advancing the brand identity of the restaurants through beer, food, service and the overall guest experience.

    Provides Leadership:

    • Leader for KBH Safety. Collaborates with Senior Leadership Team and best practices for safety initiatives, and OSHA compliance. Supports and develops safety programs, policies, and procedures.
    • Teaches, coaches, mentors, and develops employees in a manner that will enhance their personal, professional growth, and reduce company attrition rates.
    • In conjunction with senior leaders, delivers progressive capital projects on an annual basis that will assist in attaining the goals set for the departments.
    • Endows creativity and knowledge of food, service, and restaurant operations to develop actionable items in all locations that set our pubs apart from the competition.
    • In conjunction with the Senior Leadership Team, General Manager and T&C, helps shape the work culture so that pub employees feel fully engaged in their work are accountable and eager to continue to embrace our culture.
    • Assumes a leadership role in all aspects of pub remodels, concept creation and new pubs to ensure success of the brands and that financial objectives are achieved.

    Financial/Operations:

    • Focuses on making each restaurant a place where we are doing all the “right things right”
    • Assists in making each pub the most sought- after restaurant in the area because of its innovative beer, food, outstanding service, and guest experience.
    • Ensures maximum effort is invested by KBH staff equally in beer innovation, food menus, service, and pub design, and that they all align to deliver an unforgettable experience.
    • Creates and delivers department goals and presents to the Pub GM’s and management teams. Ensures the goals and directives are innovative, progressive and provide continuous improvement to our business.
    • Collaborates with pub management teams to accomplish established goals & holds Pub GM’s & management teams responsible for meeting them.
    • Assists pub GM’s in maximizing sales and profits by teaching, coaching and upholding service techniques to ensure a great guest experience.
    • Prepares necessary data for the budget; projects annual product and labor costs and monitors actual financial results; takes corrective action where necessary to ensure that financial goals are met.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Trains, leads/managers and supervises staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with KBH’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

    Minimum of 10 years of progressive restaurant leadership. A track record of success in high end brands an upward career movement. Experience in a beer branded environment is a plus.

    Must possess and demonstrate strong leadership skills to maximize employee potential and execute department goals and objectives.

    Catering and event experience is strongly desired.

    Familiarity with Federal, State, and local safety and health regulations.

    Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Intermediate proficiency with all Microsoft Office Suite products.


    Physical Requirements

    Periods of walking, standing, sitting, stooping, lifting, bending, hearing, mental and/or visual attention, working on a computer

    Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
