Sales Director directs sales organization operations and develops the tactics, operational plans, and processes to implement the organizational sales strategy, drive revenue growth, and accomplish financial objectives. Establishes and implements processes, tools, and structures to support the sales organization's operations. Being a Sales Director oversees goal setting for departmental and group levels of the sales organization and uses data and technology to measure and monitor sales processes, identify issues, and enhance performance. Implements methods and systems to effectively analyze and monitor the industry, business environment, and competitors and expand the customer base. Additionally, Sales Director uses market and customer insights to collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and suggest new products. Builds effective sales and support teams with recruiting, mentoring, and development programs. May personally participate in or negotiate strategic or high-value sales. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Sales Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Sales Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     ResponsibilitiesDirect and oversee a 10-20 member sales team extending support, guidance, and motivation to enhance sales outcomesEngage in weekly field visits with sales representatives for feedback, coaching, and pinpointing areas for refinementEvaluate and respond to closing rates, detect trends, and initiate strategies for sales performance enhancementAct in the capacity of a coach and mentor, holding frequent individual meetings and performance assessments to offer tailored growth opportunitiesActively partake in generating and finalizing sales, working closely with sales representativesSupport sales representatives in finalizing sales through guidance, negotiation tactics, and utilizing your home remodeling industry knowledgeQualificationsMinimum of 3 years' experience in sales management within the home remodeling sector (mandatory)Minimum of 3 years' in-home sales experience (mandatory)Familiarity with CRM tools; Salesforce experience is an advantageProven record of guiding a triumphant sales team, attaining or surpassing sales objectivesCommitted to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferencesDemonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organizationWhat We OfferCompetitive Compensation package Uncapped CommissionsComprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision coveragePaid vacations, PTO, growth opportunities, and 401(k) plan
