Sales Director directs sales organization operations and develops the tactics, operational plans, and processes to implement the organizational sales strategy, drive revenue growth, and accomplish financial objectives. Establishes and implements processes, tools, and structures to support the sales organization's operations. Being a Sales Director oversees goal setting for departmental and group levels of the sales organization and uses data and technology to measure and monitor sales processes, identify issues, and enhance performance. Implements methods and systems to effectively analyze and monitor the industry, business environment, and competitors and expand the customer base. Additionally, Sales Director uses market and customer insights to collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and suggest new products. Builds effective sales and support teams with recruiting, mentoring, and development programs. May personally participate in or negotiate strategic or high-value sales. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Sales Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Sales Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Job Description: We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, driven and customer focused Sales Director to join our sales team. As a Sales Director at Easton Motors (“Team Easton”), you will play a crucial role in driving our sales excellence by providing exceptional customer service and driving KPI's for the sales team in all of our dealerships.  Local travel to and from all dealerships will be required for the role, but it's within a 2 1/2 hour driving radius.  It will require some overnights on rare occasions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    POSITION DETAILS:
    The individual hired for the role of Sales Director will lead all sales activities, including but not limited to, leading all sales professional associates and sales assistants, providing location coverage, training, inventory management, marketing leadership, and providing cutting edge industry specific solutions to support both our guests and sales team members.

     POSITION TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage and direct the sales department production and performance.
    • Engage with customers to understand their needs and guide them through the car buying process
    • Leverage social media platforms to expand our customer base and promote our inventory
    • Offer in-depth knowledge of our in-house financing options
    • Train, develop, lead, and hold accountable the sales team to the assigned goals.
    • Manage and distribute leads on a daily basis.
    • Utilize existing lead generation and advertising programs to ensure the quality and quantity of loan applications are met.
    • Utilize office equipment by effectively navigating and utilizing a computer and a variety of systems including Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Direct and follow all opening and closing protocols for the dealerships.
    • Assist the sales team with leading guests through the process of vehicle purchases and financing.
    • Maintain and develop monthly sales goals and KPIs.
    • Drive success by being an integral part of the leadership team of Team Easton following through on leadership goals and KPI's.
    • Ensure exceptional guest services are being met by all team members through the training and team development process.
    • Manage and direct the use of all social media platforms to promote Team Easton and applicable store locations.
    • Drive success in maintaining a safe, organized, and motivated work environment.
    • Manage presentation of a professional and clean dealership at all locations.
    • Oversee the productivity and output of service positions per location by coordinating service output with the Chief Mechanical Officer.
    • Develop business projections, long-term goals, and sales focused growth to match the businesses long term goals.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    • Experience in sales, preferably in the automotive industry.
    • Strong presence on social media platforms.

    Work Schedule: 5-6 days a week (Closed Sunday's) (*Saturday work is necessary and is our busiest day) 

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 base pay salary per year

    Hours: Day shift – Business Hours are 9 AM – 6 PM Monday through Friday and 9 AM – 4 PM Saturday

    Work Location: Based from the Wisconsin Dells (*or other one of our close dealerships as defined by discussion with President), but will require travel to and from Adams, Baraboo, Green Bay, Wausau, West Salem, Portage, Wisconsin Dells, and/or any future dealership locations.
