Sales Director directs sales organization operations and develops the tactics, operational plans, and processes to implement the organizational sales strategy, drive revenue growth, and accomplish financial objectives. Establishes and implements processes, tools, and structures to support the sales organization's operations. Being a Sales Director oversees goal setting for departmental and group levels of the sales organization and uses data and technology to measure and monitor sales processes, identify issues, and enhance performance. Implements methods and systems to effectively analyze and monitor the industry, business environment, and competitors and expand the customer base. Additionally, Sales Director uses market and customer insights to collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and suggest new products. Builds effective sales and support teams with recruiting, mentoring, and development programs. May personally participate in or negotiate strategic or high-value sales. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Sales Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Sales Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     New Perspective is looking for a Sales Director for our assisted living and memory care community. This Sales Director role will work to plan and oversee the sales of New Perspective and services including the leasing of all suites, grows revenue and establishes maintains positive public contact in the community and expands referral source base to positively impact New Perspectives census quickly. This position is solely dedicated to a hearty soul ready to take on exciting challenges immediately,

    Responsibilities

    • Self-motivator and initiator. Results driven and likes success.
    • Know, articulate, demonstrate and believe in the New Perspective mission, core beliefs and values.
    • Strong closing skills.
    • Follow up and follow through skill set that leads to positive results.
    • Ability to multi-task, sometimes under great pressure.
    • Know all features, advantages, and benefits of the New Perspective Community, and effectively tours and presents our community to future residents and their families.

    Desired Skills and Qualifications

    • Minimum of 3 years of prior leasing or sales experience.
    • Proficient in written and verbal English.
    • Excellent telephone skills.
    • Demonstration of ability to establish long-term relationships.
    • Interest in working with the older adult population.
    • Strong computer experience including thorough knowledge of Word and Excel and ability to use or learn to use database software.
    • Ability to travel locally to fulfill job responsibilities.
    • Ability to work flexible schedules including occasional evenings and weekends.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, communications, marketing or related field.
    • More than 3 years of prior leasing or sales experience.
    • Sales experience using consultative approach.
