As a Sales Engineer for MARSHALLTOWN, you will have the opportunity to learn and understand our business and products and present our product line to distributors and retailers to capture a larger segment of the marketplace.   We are looking for a high energy person who can produce results.  This position offers the opportunity to stay local or move to Los Angeles, Phoenix, Chicago, St. Louis or the Philadelphia area  with an advancement opportunity in  12 – 18 months with relocation back to our Marshalltown, IA office. 

Specific Responsibilities Include:

• Develop and maintain expertise in of all MARSHALLTOWN’s products and services
• Leverage understanding of engineering concepts to help execute a sales strategy
• Ability to learn our markets, competitors, pricing, customers, order entry, marketing and product development
• Troubleshoots customers’ technical issues and provides consultative engineering solutions.
• Identifies and seeks out needed information, research, gathers and communicates customer needs

Qualifications of the Position Include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical field
• Strong technical, logical, analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
• Outgoing personality and ability to work with customers and employees at all levels including company leaders
