DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Provide customers with high-level technical support via phone, e-mail, or in person.
• Perform installation of Nanovea metrology instruments.
• Provide operational training for Nanovea metrology instruments, both internally and externally.
• Track and report issues with metrology instruments to quality advancement and improvement manager and development team.
• Repair damaged or malfunctioning metrology instruments.
• Maintain Nanovea laboratory instruments.
• Provide assistance to product development engineering team on custom projects or design revision.
• Support sales team with technical expertise on Nanovea metrology instruments.
• Troubleshoot metrology instruments.
• Maintain instrument user's manual.
• Create and organize technical documentation for the metrology instruments.
• Provide quotes for upgrades, consumables, and add-ons to existing customers.
• Peer-train coworkers on usage of instruments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation ability.
• Excels in problem-solving.
• Attention to detail.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.
• Succeeds in self-management.
• Knowledge of assembling, troubleshooting, or repairing electrical or mechanical assemblies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preferred BS in Materials, Electrical, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  

• Preferred 1– 3 years of related experience in Customer Service or Client Management.
• A valid U.S. Passport for international travel.
• A valid U.S. driver's license.
• Knowledge of Nanovea metrology instruments and their use is a plus.
