Sales Engineer

• £28,000 - £35,000 basic salary
• Uncapped commission: £60,000 realistic, £80,000 possible

This position will provide an outstanding opportunity to get properly rewarded for hard work. It is predominantly a reactive position, dealing with existing business but a proactive mentality will be essential. They a long-established manufacturer with a comprehensive offering to best look after their customers and their varied requirements. From individual products to full packages and the necessary spares and repair contracts. 

The Role: Sales Engineer

• Achieve the agreed level of sales for equipment plus spares and repairs 
• Respond to and follow up on all sales bids / tenders and RFQ’s 
• Proactively sell the company’s products where suitable and liaise with established Agents internationally
• Listening to customer requirements, understanding customers specifications and providing appropriate bids 
• Maintain and build relationships with existing customers 

The successful Sales Engineer will need:

• Mechanical engineering background, ideally with knowledge in or related to rotating equipment / fluid dynamics / industrial engineering / HVAC plant / pumps / valves
• Experience in / of the oil and gas industry
• Living within commutable distance to Worthing, you could like in / near Brighton, Washington, Steyning, Shoreham-by-Sea, Hove, Ferring, Angmering, Littlehampton, Wick, Arundel, Bognor Regis, Amberley, Henfield etc.
