Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Service Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of our service department working with customers to ensue their repair needs are met. The position is responsible for the profitability of the service department.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of service advisors & technicians
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns
- Work with the Service Writer and Technicians to schedule customer repairs, follow up to ensure all requests have been met
- Communicate with other departments to carry out day to day operations
- Oversee customer billing for service repairs
- Oversee warranty and recall programs
- Maintain accurate records of service transactions
-Work and communicate with Brand representatives to ensure the department is compliant with the company and the customers' needs are met
-Answer customer inquiries relating to machine failures and breakdowns
Experience:
- 2 to 3 years of experience working in a service department
-High School diploma, associate degree preferred
-Knowledge or experience with Farm Equipment/Farming Operations
-Experience with technical manuals and procedures in a service department setting
Qualifications
