iTA is the largest Navistar truck dealer in Louisiana, covering the New Orleans, Northshore, Slidell, Houma, Lafayette, Baton Rouge and Lake Charles markets. iTA sells International-branded new trucks and all makes and models of pre-owned used trucks and trailers, as well as providing outstanding service and parts to meet any fleet’s needs.

iTA is looking for a Full-Time Sales Account Manager to join our team in Lafayette, LA.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years’ sales experience with:

• leasing and/or rental environment, or some sales experience in the trucking industry: International; Navistar; Mack; Volvo; Peterbilt; Kenworth; Freightliner; Ford Truck; CAT; Cummins; Detroit Diesel.
• Industry experience with: transportation; farming; trucking; heavy equipment; construction.
• Other industry experience may be given consideration if solid sale experience can be demonstrated.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated sales ability;
• High energy and self-motivated;
• Ability to work independently;
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to market, including cold calling on prospective and existing customers in South Louisiana.
• Experience is a plus, but will train the right individual.
• Bachelor’s Degree a plus, but not required.
• Base Commission salary structure; car allowance; excellent benefits.
