Position Summary:
Primarily responsible for applying a consultative sales approach in prospecting, developing and closing new business for the route laundry segment of the company.
· Building the business within the territory
· Targeting potential customers and assessing opportunities for sales
· Arranging meetings with potential customers and selling product offerings
· Analyzing competitor activities in the region, and assessing opportunities for business development
· Networking with management company owners and building relationships with same
· Attending relevant industry events and conferences to build business
· Creating sales strategies to obtain market share opportunities
· Regular site visits to maintain customer retention
· Maintain data in the CRM; schedule appointments, follow-ups and maintain accurate contact information
· Meet assigned territory quota’s
· Promptly respond to inquiries from employees
Required Education & Experience:
· High School Diploma or equivalent; and 2 years business-to-business sales
· Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or Business preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Excellent communication abilities
· Problem solving
· Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures and legal documents
