Bookkeeper Responsibilities:
Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process for both A/R and A/P
Invoice clients and manage past due accounts
Enter vendor invoices into ordering platform and process timely weekly payments
Process ordering platform month end into accounting system and perform bank reconciliation
Complete sales tax filings and state registrations
Maintain records, prepare and analyze monthly financial reports
Process payroll payroll in a timely manner on a bi-monthly basis
Assist with budget process and cash flow analysis
Calculate monthly commissions for management approval
Handle credit requests and new vendor/new client credit processes
Bookkeeper Skills:
Proven bookkeeping experience
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
Proficiency in Excel and MS Office
Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
