Inventory Coordinator
Summary/Objective:
The inventory coordinator is responsible for all activities in the organization related to accurate receiving, storing, and distributing inventory. Inventory coordinator will report directly to inventory manager, develop, and improve existing procedures and policies, prevent losses, and occasionally do some heavy lifting. Other responsibilities include maintaining storage facilities, ensuring the accuracy of inventory records, and compiling reports. The position works closely with other inventory manager to maintain meticulous software accuracy and make the jobs of purchasers and cashiers run seamlessly. Some travel may be required.

Responsibilities:
-Accurately receiving purchase orders.
-Maintaining UPC codes and making sure all sellable inventory scans at the register.
-Entering inter store transfers and coordinating the distribution of inventory between warehouses and locations.
-Maintaining locations codes in order to make finding backstock easier.
-Working proficiently in Microsoft Excel with data entry in order to do mass inventory updates.
-Performing regular cycle counts and full physical inventory counts at request of upper management.
-Checking Price Exception Reports for pricing issues and updating in Inventory Maintenance as necessary.
-Maintaining multiple selling unit codes in order to keep inventory and gross profit margins accurate.
-Identifying gross profit outliers in sales and updating pricing as needed.
-Reconciling General Ledger inventory values against physical inventory values at each location.
-Checking negative inventory reports and accurately updating quantity on hand.
-Retagging shelf inventory as needed.
-Develop loss mitigation processes and protocols.
-Track inventory changes in IMU.
-Adjusting order points
-Identifying overstock and working with other managers, including outside sales to move surplus and slow-moving inventory.
-Performs other duties as required by upper management.
- Maintaining and updating SCS matrix.
-Work in conjunction with e commerce admin to ensure proper maintenance, online inventory accuracy, item uploads, etc.
- Receiving and picking orders in warehouse submitted by outside sales, account customers, and will call pickups.
