The Location
This is a 100% field-based role located in Central Illinois and is performed in hospitals, surgery centers & associated clinic environments. The Associate Sales Representative is expected to provide their own transportation to locations and will be reimbursed for mileage.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Support elective surgery case coverage by planning, organizing, and delivering surgical case logistics.
- Identify equipment required for surgery, prepare the sequence of items for surgeons in advance, and provide hands-on guidance and training to surgeons and hospital staff.
- Assist with inventory management by maintaining an active inventory and place new orders for products from manufacturer as needed.
- Document and communicate when a product has been used and inspect equipment to ensure it is in good working condition for patient satisfaction.
- Perform product demonstrations, installations, and application support to patient and hospitals staff.
- Partner on sales engagements by listening for what surgeons and patients need and determining which current or new products may address their needs.
- Discuss new products or technology that will achieve better patient outcomes, shorten time in the operating room, improve costs, and provide other value with patients and hospital staff.
- Follow policies and procedures to accomplish responsibilities including following HIPAA regulations.
- Coordinate all issues with key clients between sales, service, support, customer services, marketing and finance.
- Collaborate with all internal stakeholders on cross-functional duties and responsibilities.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Required Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelors degree and/or a Certificate of Completion from Medical Sales College

Previous sales experience

Experience working in a health care and/or hospital setting

Demonstrated ability to apply functional knowledge of operating implants/instrumentation as well as workflow efficiencies during medical procedures
- Knowledge of human anatomy
