$21-$24/hour, plus frequent overtime, plus monthly commission
Responsibilities
Assist in determination of supply requirements with customers, selling parts, and providing order processing services.
Maintain a clean in-store display and merchandise sales area
Stock showroom
Present merchandise to customers with professional selling techniques
Pull orders for customers
Assist customers with loading
Assemble and prep small electric and gasoline powered equipment
Be engaging, welcoming, and helpful to customers
Operate as a facilitator for customers in finding what they want
Maintain positive attitude during stressful customer interactions
Operate within all supply policies and procedures of the company
Qualifications
Strong organizational skills, good communication skills, excellent customer relations skills, good computer and systems knowledge.
Good phone skills
Ability to Lift items 50 lbs or less routinely or up to 90 lbs occasionally.
Customer service experience a plus, but not required.
Building supply sales experience a plus, but not required.
Spanish speaking highly desirable but not required
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment
May need to operate a forklift on occasion, training provided
Sometimes exposed to outside weather conditions and warehouse environment
Eager to learn a vast and diverse product line
Must be able to pass a drug screen
