Sales Representative - Licensed conducts business development and sales activities with existing consumer banking customers and new prospects to increase sales of financial products and expand the customer base. Develops leads with customer profile development, telemarketing, and promotional events. Being a Sales Representative - Licensed maintains a broad understanding and detailed knowledge of the current financial product offerings. Assesses customer needs, explains each product's characteristics and benefits, and makes recommendations that align with the customer's financial objectives. Additionally, Sales Representative - Licensed may require a bachelor's degree. Completion of the FINRA Series 6 Investment Company Products/Variable Contract Limited Representative qualification exam and any required state licensing is required. Also requires completion of the FINRA Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination and any state licensing. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Sales Representative - Licensed work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and achieve sales targets
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify potential opportunities for growth
- Prepare sales reports and maintain accurate records of sales activities in Salesforce or other CRM systems
Experience:
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the technology industry
- Strong account management skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets
- Proficiency in using CRM systems such as Salesforce or similar software
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus
