Sales Representative - Licensed conducts business development and sales activities with existing consumer banking customers and new prospects to increase sales of financial products and expand the customer base. Develops leads with customer profile development, telemarketing, and promotional events. Being a Sales Representative - Licensed maintains a broad understanding and detailed knowledge of the current financial product offerings. Assesses customer needs, explains each product's characteristics and benefits, and makes recommendations that align with the customer's financial objectives. Additionally, Sales Representative - Licensed may require a bachelor's degree. Completion of the FINRA Series 6 Investment Company Products/Variable Contract Limited Representative qualification exam and any required state licensing is required. Also requires completion of the FINRA Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination and any state licensing. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Sales Representative - Licensed work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. The Sales Representative is a very important position to the success of our company. The high-level, customer service is one of the main qualities that sets us apart from our competition. Our Sales Representatives will meet with and talk to our large customer base to ensure that they have a great experience when purchasing from SPC Office Products.
We are looking for people who are very outgoing, competitive, and hard-working. Successful Sales Representatives are not afraid to take a risk, are knowledgeable in negotiating, and are not intimidated easily. They will be confident communicating with customers over the phone, by email, and in face-to-face meetings. We travel a 75-mile radius around Woodward, OK to meet with customers and show them that we care. You will have a level of flexibility in your work schedule, but our retail store is open 8:00 - 5:30, Monday through Friday.
We provide you with transportation and all the marketing materials you will need to be successful. Your first few weeks will involve training and practice. We want you to know the best ways to keep the customer happy.
If you are self-motivated and work hard, you will enjoy the rewards. We pay a base salary plus commissions when sales targets are achieved.
