Sales Representative - Licensed conducts business development and sales activities with existing consumer banking customers and new prospects to increase sales of financial products and expand the customer base. Develops leads with customer profile development, telemarketing, and promotional events. Being a Sales Representative - Licensed maintains a broad understanding and detailed knowledge of the current financial product offerings. Assesses customer needs, explains each product's characteristics and benefits, and makes recommendations that align with the customer's financial objectives. Additionally, Sales Representative - Licensed may require a bachelor's degree. Completion of the FINRA Series 6 Investment Company Products/Variable Contract Limited Representative qualification exam and any required state licensing is required. Also requires completion of the FINRA Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination and any state licensing. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Sales Representative - Licensed work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage external and internal email accounts
· Generate and track claims within an internal software portal
· Communicate with internal departments relating to returned / defective products
· Evaluate returned items and place in proper inventory
· File claims with carriers when goods are damaged or lost
· File for return authorizations to vendors
· Coordinate with internal and external teams to return shipments to vendors
· Track return shipments and coordinate with accounting ensuring credits are received
· Set daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to manage claim progress
· Update sales staff with progress and disposition of claims
· Other duties as assigned, may vary
