Sales Representative - Licensed conducts business development and sales activities with existing consumer banking customers and new prospects to increase sales of financial products and expand the customer base. Develops leads with customer profile development, telemarketing, and promotional events. Being a Sales Representative - Licensed maintains a broad understanding and detailed knowledge of the current financial product offerings. Assesses customer needs, explains each product's characteristics and benefits, and makes recommendations that align with the customer's financial objectives. Additionally, Sales Representative - Licensed may require a bachelor's degree. Completion of the FINRA Series 6 Investment Company Products/Variable Contract Limited Representative qualification exam and any required state licensing is required. Also requires completion of the FINRA Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination and any state licensing. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Sales Representative - Licensed work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     Summary
    Front line application sales engineer focused on technical sales support, sales lead generation and general business development for the New England and Eastern NY territory and other select accounts as required. Responsibilities will include

    • Sales lead generation.
    • Product and application customer training.
    • Territory and industry specific strategic planning and execution.
    • Customer relations maintenance and development.
    • Technical applications review.
    • Lead in quotations preparation and assistance with preparation.
    • Cost analysis, profit maximization.
    • Vendor relations, cooperative vendor sales calls and training as needed and available.
    • Monthly reporting, directly to Nooney Controls Director of Sales.
    • Achieve the sales budget for a defined group of user customers.
    • Drive regional, corporate account business strategies and new product introductions.
    • Conduct in-plant and seminars to educate users in the use of our products and services.
    • Represents the organization in providing solutions associated with the sale and marketing of our products.
    • Previous performance must have demonstrated superior Conceptual, Technical, People, and Organizational Skills plus a Strong Work Ethic.
    Training - Learn our products, applications, and the selection process, learn the valve industry and the industries we serve. That process will be accomplished by in-house, external training and on-the-job training.

    Required Education and Experience
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent

    Preferred Education and Experience
    • BA, BS degree preferred.
