    in Roanoke, TX.

     

    Position Summary:

    The Sr. Technical Inside Sales Representative fields customer inquiries via telephone or email and identifies and evaluates customer needs. Converts customers’ needs to order for the appropriate product, program or service. Sets up and executes orders in the Company’s ERP in accordance with the commitments made to the customer. Acts as a single point of contact for the customer in all areas including identifying equipment to fill customer’s needs, technical support as needed, logistics, and invoicing questions.

    This person will need to understand test equipment related to power delivery applications and products from key manufacturers such as Doble, Dranetz, Hioki, Fluke, Raytech, Omicron and others, and be able to apply those to the needs and requirements of customers.

    Responsibilities

    • Responds to customer inquiries to develops relationships, identify customer needs and convert them to orders.
    • Executes orders using the Company's ERP and Salesforce while setting appropriate delivery expectations and other terms of sale in accordance with Company guidelines. 
    • Substitutes and prices products to maximize utilization of available products.
    • Proactively pursues and develops relationships with assigned accounts. Works closely with outside sales on account management.
    • High-Level Technical Support
    • Used Sale Program Lead, Pricing, Advertising, and Executing Used Sale Orders.
    • Tradeshow Attendance- Attend various industry tradeshows with 50% potential travel.
    • Marketing Help- Develop marketing angles with customer base and tradeshow design and execution. 
    • Occasionally performs special tasks as assigned.
    • Working remotely with access to internet and phone

    Qualifications

    • Knowledge of products and applications carried in intellirent inventory
    • Knowledge typically gained through five to ten (5-10) years inside sales experience or other experience dealing directly with customers, and achievement of an advanced technical degree or equivalent, plus some power system technical training preferred.
    • Ability to successfully multi-task and manage concurrent selling situations. Must be micro-computer literate with the ability to access, input and retrieve data from Company database
    • Ability to perform the required physical elements of the job (listed below)
    • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

    • Achievement of rental and sales targets.
    • New business development.
    • Timeliness of follow-up and quality of customer contact.
    • Utilization of sales skills taught in Company training program.
    • General job performance as defined by standard company performance evaluation and requirements.

     

    Experience & Education

    • 4-year degree or equivalent is required
    • 5-10 years inside sales experience required

     

    *This position will be remote 100% of the time

     

    * Salary range base and commission total earnings between $100,000 to $140,000 depending on experience and level of closed sales.

     

     

    Physical Requirements

    • All positions will require, to some degree, the physical abilities described below to perform the essential functions of the job
    • Work the expected hours, consistently arrive at work at the agreed time and follow Company rules and guidelines regarding breaks and meal periods.  Full time is typically considered to be 40 hours per week
    • Communicate effectively, both oral (in person and on the phone) and written.
    • Move around and through all work areas as needed, may include climbing stairs or ladders
    • Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds (i.e. books, reports, binders etc.)
    • Regularly sit at the assigned workstation
    • Use keyboard or equivalent equipment, to access the computer,
    • Use hands to manipulate documents and general paperwork to view contents
    • Read documents, reports, files etc.
    • Communicate effectively using the telephone
