Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes.     YOUR PRIMARY PURPOSE:  Oversee daily Retail operations, ensuring smooth functioning and optimal performance.


    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:


    Sales

    • Model understanding and commitment to the store’s sales mission and effectively communicate to staff in actionable terms.
    • Assist with development of each team member’s individual commitment to the achievement of the store’s sales results.
    • Model and effectively supervise staff. 
    • Monitor and escalate stock levels to Store Management in a timely manner.

    Operational Controls

    • Inventory Control/Shrink.
    • Cash Management (opening and closing procedures, POS, paperwork, logs, policies & procedures).
    • Comply with all Quality Assurance policies & procedures.
    • Maintain store cleanliness.

    Staff Development

    • Assist in training sales staff in accordance with company standards.
    • Assist with training and developing staff sales techniques.
    • Escalate issues to Store Management in a professional and timely manner.

    Requirements

    YOUR ATTRIBUTES:

    YOUR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Proven sales background.
    • Prior retail experience, preferably in a specialty retail environment.

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

    • Basic math and/or accounting skills.
    • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 35 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
    • Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach with arms.
    • Must be available to work nights, weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), and holidays.
