Shared Support South is expanding its Shared Wellness division and seeking a dedicated individual to serve as the Behavior Specialist/Director of Shared Wellness. This exciting role offers the opportunity to lead the development of our wellness center in Bucks County while providing direct support to individuals with intellectual disabilities and their teams.

Qualifications

Requirements 

• Licensed Psychologist or Social Worker preferred. Master's degree in psychology; behavior analysis acceptable.
• Experience in mindfulness stress reduction techniques such as meditation and breathwork.
• Strong background in behavior support and wellness practices.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop Shared Wellness Center: Spearhead the establishment of the Shared Wellness Center in Bucks County, including program development and facility setup.
2. Manage Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee the daily operations of Shared Wellness Bucks County, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment for all participants.
3. Direct Behavior Support: Provide direct behavior support for a caseload of individuals with intellectual disabilities, collaborating with their teams to implement effective strategies.
4. Lead Mindfulness Groups: Conduct group sessions on mindfulness approaches that promote self-regulation of behavior and enhance overall well-being.
5. Community Engagement: Facilitate community participation opportunities for program participants, fostering social inclusion and integration.
