What we are looking for?
We are actively seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to fill the newly created position of Sales Trainer. This role presents a unique opportunity for an energetic and innovative leader to play a key role in implementing training programs designed to enhance the sales skills and performance of our sales team members. As the Sales Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success and effectiveness of our sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct Training Sessions: Lead engaging and interactive training sessions for new hires and existing sales representatives, covering topics such as product knowledge, sales techniques, objection handling, and customer service.
· Provide Coaching and Feedback: Offer individualized coaching and feedback to sales team members to help them improve their sales skills, overcome challenges, and achieve their performance goals.
· Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends, market changes, and best practices in sales training and incorporate relevant insights into training programs to keep our sales team competitive and effective.
· Assess Training Effectiveness: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and performance metrics, and make necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement.
· Collaborate with Sales Managers: Work closely with sales managers to identify training needs, set training objectives, and develop strategies to address performance gaps and optimize sales performance.
· Support Onboarding Process: Assist in the onboarding process for new sales hires, providing them with the necessary knowledge, skills, and resources to succeed in their roles from day one.
· Foster a Culture of Learning: Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the sales team, encouraging team members to take ownership of their professional growth and seek out opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
· 5 years of related sales training and coaching experience, preferably in the skilled trades industry
· Requires extensive travel in the Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina markets.
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
· Strong understanding of sales techniques, customer psychology, and effective communication strategies.
· Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
· Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with sales team members.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to assess training needs, track performance metrics, and measure training effectiveness.
· Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt training approaches to meet the diverse needs of the sales team.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other training development tools.
· Certification in sales training or instructional design is a plus.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
