Sales Training Manager manages a team of trainers that create and deliver sales training programs that support an effective and motivated sales force. Partners with senior sales managers to assess training needs and develop programs focused on product knowledge and effective sales techniques and that will enable the sales team to maximize revenue potential. Being a Sales Training Manager monitors and analyzes sales team performance to evaluate the effectiveness of training and design follow up or ongoing programs as needed. Has strong knowledge and understanding of the organization's products, services, customers, competitors, and sales techniques. Additionally, Sales Training Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Sales Training Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Sales Training Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     A Day in the Life:

    Initially you will be trained personally to become a high performance salesperson. Once you have established yourself as a top performer you will be trained on the management side of the business. This process usually takes 6-12 months at peak performance. Promotion to management is the next step wherein on a typical day, you will manage the operations of your store and performance of your staff. How you interact with guests will be the blueprint for you team. Your tasks will include counting inventory, hiring, making sales, and coaching employees. You will be responsible for meeting personal and store sales goals. You will also take part in trainings and attending weekly sales leadership calls.

    Retail Store Sales Manager Responsibilities:

    • Recruit, train, coach and develop sales staff on all aspects of sales which include but are not limited to, sales techniques, products, promotions, and procedures
    • Be motivated by change and adapt sales strategies as the business changes
    • Encourage and motivate sales team to meet or exceed sales quotas
    • Provide effective performance feedback to all staff and set time frames for achievement. Must also commit to following up on those expectations and maintain accountability
    • Use Salesforce calls and customer outreach to increase productivity and drive sales 
    • Ensure availability and protection of merchandise by maintaining inventory levels
    • Perform an accessory inventory count monthly as well as device inventory count daily
    • Maintain cleanliness standards as they evolve, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests
    • Secure merchandise and protect employees by adhering to security standards 
    • Schedule staff to maintain appropriate shift coverage based on business needs
    • Manage all escalated customer service issues with professionalism
    • Execute daily operational procedures with excellence
    • Lead with effective communication through Teams and manage email communications
    • Use training tools provided to further your career and personal development 
    • Create a fun and engaging environment that promotes creativity and innovation 
    • Other duties as required

    Job Requirements:

    Next to being committed to superior customer service, you also have experience leading a team to greatness. We look for you to also bring the following:

    • High School diploma, AA preferred
    • 1-2 years of experience in a retail sales environment, 1-2 years in a -leadership/supervisory role

    We also have expectations that you bring the following traits:

    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Basic interview skills and enhanced staffing knowledge
    • Relevant history of high retail sales performance
    • Basic Math Skills
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
