Position Purpose:
Supervises personnel and enforces Concurrency Management processes providing configuration management activities throughout the lifecycle of B-52 Training Systems (TS).
Essential Functions of the Position:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required for a Concurrency Management Supervisor. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
· Responsible for leading and coordinating the CM work efforts in accordance with the CM Plan.
· Responsible for building, maintaining and configuration control of B52 TS software baseline.
· Plan, execute, and supervise revisions and updates to the B52 TS formal software baselines.
· Responsible for configuration management planning.
· Describes provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits.
· Troubleshoot and help resolve errors encountered during software builds.
· Responsible for scheduling training activities, developing structured procedures for completing tasks within area of responsibility, and coordinating with other supervisors for outside assistance.
· Responsible for assignment or reassignment of tasks, regulating schedules, and evaluating performance.
· Responsible for reporting progress on all activities within area of responsibility.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education and/or Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree in technical discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience.
· Requires a minimum of 8 years’ of demonstrated experience as a CM on a software development team or completion of CM training. Familiarity with configuration control board procedures and/or Agency Review Board (ARB)/ Engineering Requirements Board (ERB) desired.
· An equivalent combination of education and direct related experience will be considered.
· Capable of obtaining and maintaining US Department of Defense (DoD) secret personnel security clearance.
· US Citizenship is required.
Language Skills:
The individual must possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as doctrinal manuals, technical data, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Possession of the ability to write routine reports, correspondence, and the ability to develop and proof training materials prepared by subject matter experts is integral. The individual must also possess the ability to effectively speak in public forums, interpersonal situations, and before groups of employees. Additionally, the person shall be able to effectively communicate with all project stakeholders and assets via both formal and informal avenues.
Reasoning Ability:
Possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete and intellectual variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Travel
