Sarbanes Oxley Analyst implements and coordinates an organization's auditing strategy and activities for regulatory compliance. Deploys internal controls, best practices, and strategies to identify process deficiencies and implement improvements. Being a Sarbanes Oxley Analyst gathers, analyzes, and consolidates data for required regulatory reporting to fulfill content and scheduling requirements. Supports external regulatory inspections and internal audits and may coordinate document reviews, protocol reviews, validation reviews, and training programs as part of auditing processes. Additionally, Sarbanes Oxley Analyst maintains and updates a knowledge base or information system of the financial regulations, required processes, and industry/regulatory agency standards that govern a business or a product. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Sarbanes Oxley Analyst work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Position Summary:
Assists in design, development and implementation of new or enhanced solutions for Revenue Cycle processes in support of software system implementations, upgrades and optimization projects. Delivers resolutions for business process changes for information systems projects. Identifies opportunities for business process improvement and initiates improvement projects with or without deploying information technology.
Position Key Accountabilities:
Certification/Skills:
Experience with PMI, Six Sigma or IIBA standards preferred.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical problem-solving skills
Detail oriented
Highly collaborative
Intermediate experience managing revenue cycle or IT projects
Experience with Epic or other EHR strongly preferred
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Healthcare Administration preferred
Minimum Experience:
Four (4) years of experience designing, building, training or implementing business solutions or leading teams or projects to optimize revenue cycle performance using information technology.
Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
