Sarbanes Oxley Director directs programs, policies, and practices to ensure the organization is in compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Oversees development and testing of internal controls regarding the reporting financial results. Being a Sarbanes Oxley Director contributes to the development of organization-wide SOX compliance strategies, identifying process deficiencies and recommending improvements as necessary. Oversees the reporting of test results to top management. Additionally, Sarbanes Oxley Director may develop and conduct compliance training for employees. Stays abreast of changes in SOX regulations to ensure timely compliance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Sarbanes Oxley Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Sarbanes Oxley Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     Responsibilities

    What You'll Do At Gaudenzia

    • Ensure full complement of qualified staff is trained and adhere to the agency's policy and procedure manual.
    • Maintain accurate census, manage the program budget and ensure adherence during the fiscal year.
    • Oversee daily program operations and ensure safety and proper functioning of physical plant, clinical and administrative programming. 
    • Maintain full licensing, accreditation, credentialing, and certifications, as appropriate. 
    • Identify, suggest, and implement innovative work systems and processes to promote productivity and smooth program operations.
    • Identify, suggest, and implement policy and procedures. 
    • Establish and maintain positive relationships with funding, referral, and regulatory agencies. 
    • Develop and maintain supportive relationships with the public and community organizations by engaging in public relations activities in coordinator with the agency's corporate office. 
    • Ensure that the building maintenance and overall functioning of the program, e.g., proper health and safety practices is achieved and sustained. 
    • Ensure that the clinical team implements and maintains an appropriate treatment schedule. 
    • Monitor program metrics and support activities related to agency's continuous quality improvement plan and strategic plan and implement program adjustments, as needed. 
    • Facilitate staff meetings, consultations, and special therapeutic activities, as required. 
    • Participate and provide leadership in treatment/multidisciplinary team meetings.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications for This Role:

     

    Pennsylvania & Delaware Position Requirements: Must hold either a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in medicine, psychology, social work, or counseling "PLUS" specialized training in a relevant area e.g. women and children, HIV/AIDS, mental health, criminal justice, adolescents, etc. 

     

    Maryland Position Requirements: Must possess a Supervisory Certificate from the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapist. Must hold a degree from an accredited college or university with a major in medicine, psychology, social work, or counseling "PLUS" specialized training in a relevant area e.g. women and children, HIV/AIDS, mental health, criminal justice, adolescents, etc. 

     

    Experience Requirements:

    • Master's Degree with at least "2" years of relevant experience, including one-year supervisory experience "OR" Bachelor's Degree with at least "3" years of relevant experience, including one-year supervisory experience.
