Fishkill Home Care an industry leader offering premier home care for over 31 years in Orange and Dutchess Counties is actively hiring a Scheduler to manage homecare services. The Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating services between clients and caregivers, implementing schedules, ensuring adequate visits and maintaining continuity of care to best meet the needs of our clients. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing all field staff schedules including RN’s, LPN’s, Social Workers and PTA’s. He/She will find and place available staff coverage for open homecare cases. In addition, the Scheduler will work with supervisors to monitor staff productivity.

Responsibilities Include:

·         Timely schedules and communicates to staff and clients scheduled services and changes.

·         Schedule nursing visits for patients, manage and input calendar, and adjust schedules for RN’s Therapists, PTA’s OT’s and Social Workers.

                   *      Obtaining and maintaining Authorizations from various insurance companies 

·         Documents and verify and all nursing and therapy visits for billing and requisite follow up for patient care;

·         Assures maximum continuity and consistency in scheduling to assure the highest quality of service to clients;

·         Ensures that all clinical staff assigned to clients have the requisite clinical expertise to perform duties assigned.

·         Resolves scheduling conflicts in a professional and efficient manner

·         Communicate schedule changes to relevant parties and documents

·         Provides administrative support as needed and assigned by director.  

 Experience:

·         HS Diploma mandatory -- Associates or Bachelor Degree preferred or equivalent in experience

·         Must have excellent communication skills

·         Must be able to excel in a fast-paced environment

·         Must have knowledge of computer systems

·         Previous experience working in scheduling or staffing is nice to have -- home care or facility care experience preferred.
