Being a Scheduler monitors daily production results and revises scheduling responsive to changes in the flow of materials, designs, equipment, or other resources. Utilizes ERP systems, planning and scheduling software, or other database tools to develop and maintain master schedules and generate reporting. Additionally, Scheduler typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Scheduler work is closely managed. We are seeking an experienced scheduler to join our fast growing homecare agency in New Haven. This position is a weekends. Schedulers work on-call to juggle schedules, handle call-outs and other emergencies, and assist our caregivers. We are absoltely committed to our clients. You will be the one who solves their problems.
```Duties```
- Answer phone calls and assiste clients
- Match caregivers to clients to provde the best service possible.
- Manage the schedule to optimize efficiency and minimize gaps
- Confirm schedules in be in touch with caregivers during the shift
- Handle emergency situations with clients
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and address any scheduling concerns or issues
```Requirements```
- Previous experience working in scheduling, preferably in homecare
- Strong computer skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
