School Bus Driver jobs in Portland, OR

Required Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years old, meet all minimum qualifications for the position of Bus Driver, and possess a minimum of three (3) years' experience performing duties as a School Bus Driver. Applicant must have successfully completed the Oregon Behind-the-Wheel Instructor Workshop with a score of at least 80% or greater and completed the Oregon Core and Advanced Instructor Workshop with a score of 80% or greater. Applicant must also be able to attain and maintain valid certification as an instructor of First Aid within six (6) months of employment.

Position Description:
The Beaverton School District is accepting applications for School Bus Trainer, at Transportationfor the 2022-23 school year.
Trains, tests and evaluates driving skills of current and prospective school bus and activity vehicle drivers using approved methods and processes of the Oregon Department od Education for pupil transporation.

Additional Information:
Successful candidates will have excellent communication and presentation skills, excellent knowledge of bus routes and surrounding geographic area, and be proficient in the use of business presentation software including but not limited to MS Word,Excel, Power Point and Adobe. Experience working on a team-oriented environment is preferred..
