JOB GOAL:
To provide each student, through safe and efficient transportation, opportunities to take advantage of the full range of curricular and extracurricular activities offered by the district.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Professionalism
· Maintain a pleasant and courteous atmosphere in the district in dealing with the public, employees, and students.
Communication
· Communicates and collaborates with the Transportation Direct on transportation needs of the district.
· Responds appropriately to requests for information.
Transportation-related Duties
· Complies with all State laws and regulations regarding school transportation.
· Maintains safety standards in compliance with State and insurance regulations.
· Take buses to be tested, as needed.
· Communicate bus maintenance needs to TransportationDirector.
Terms of Employment: As determined by the Transportation Director, including regular bus routes and extracurricular events.
Salary/Benefits: $25 per hour, with future increases to be determined by the Board of Education on an annual basis.
Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated by the Transportation Director.
