23 hours per week, 33 weeks per annum
Do you enjoy working with children and young people? Are you a sensitive, responsive, and clear communicator with the ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team? We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic RN (Band 6) to join our nursing team; they will be a caring person who strives to give the best pro-active patient care to our pupils. The successful candidate would be required to start from February 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter.
The successful candidate will have accurate medical data recording skills and good IT skills. Previous experience of working with children and young people is highly desirable. Experience in minor injuries, chronic disease management, and child mental health would be an advantage.
The ideal candidate will complement our current team of Nurses who provide health care for 80 boarders and 300-day pupils aged between 3 and 13 years of age. The School Health Centre is staffed during term time and operates a set rota system which includes evening and weekend working. In the future, the hours may involve a 24-hour service.
