Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Nurse to join our team. As a School Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing healthcare services to students and promoting a safe and healthy learning environment. This position requires strong medical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and school staff.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct healthcare services to students in accordance with state regulations and school policies
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assist with the management of chronic health conditions
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide basic life support when necessary
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for each student
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized healthcare plans for students with special needs
- Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics
- Implement infection control measures and promote healthy hygiene practices
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of student health information

Requirements:
- Valid nursing license in the state of [LOCATION]
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience working as a nurse in a school or pediatric setting is a plus
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
