The Francis Howell School District is seeking a middle school principal who can demonstrate evidence of having improved student learning outcomes in a school setting.

Basic Qualifications:

• Masters degree (specialist or doctorate preferred)
• Appropriate Principal Certification
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills
• Knowledge of Best Practices in Curriculum/Instruction & Assessment
• Knowledge of School Improvement and Best Practices as measured by data/results
• Knowledge of Classroom Instruction that Works (preferred)
• Professional Learning Communities Training (preferred)
• Successful Teaching Experience (middle school preferred, 5 years preferred)
• Assistant Principal Experience (preferred—middle school preferred, 3 years preferred)

• Current number of certified staff-approximately 53
• Current administrative staff-Principal and two Assistant Principals
