Purpose Statement :
The job of CTE aide was established for the purpose / s of managing and providing a wide variety of secretarial and administrative support to the secretary and CTE Educators;
and monitoring assigned programs and / or projects within the curriculum department.
Essential Functions :
Maintain CTE calendar w conferences, meetings.
Comply with district guidelines.
Other Functions
Must be able to operate standard office equipment including pertinent software applications; Google suite, spreadsheets, planning and managing projects;
performing basic bookkeeping; and preparing and maintaining accurate records
Must have knowledge of concepts of grammar and punctuation; bookkeeping principles; business telephone etiquette; common office machines;
and office methods and practices, responding to emails, calendaring, meeting coordination.
Must have the ability to communicate with diverse groups; establishing and maintaining effective relationships; maintain confidentiality;
meeting deadlines and schedule; setting priorities; and working with interruptions.
Experience : Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is required.
Education : High School diploma or equivalent.
