Position Description:
Oxford Academy and Central School District is seeking applications from outstanding educational leaders for the position of Superintendent of Schools to begin July 1, 2024. Applications must be received by March 29, 2024.

The Board plans to offer an initial three-year contract with a salary range of $150,000-$165,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Residency is not required, but regular visibility within the Oxford educational community is expected. The Board is willing to consider a relocation incentive for establishing primary residence in the school district.

The Oxford Academy and Central School District seeks a proven educational leader committed to providing an outstanding educational program. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities.

• Exemplary leadership skills and the ability to listen and motivate staff and students at all levels.
• Knowledge of Federal and NYS Education laws, regulations and mandates.
• Willing to become an established and active member of the Oxford School Community.
• Open and approachable . . . a good listener.
• Is goal oriented and able to develop a vision for the future, and clearly communicate that vision.
• A strong instructional background with successful experience in curriculum/program development and implementation.
• Capable of developing a strong, positive working relationship with the Board of Education.

Salary Range:
$150,000-$165,000
