Commercial Construction Superintendent needed.

W.L. McNatt & Company is a Commercial General Contractor and has been proudly serving Oklahoma City and surrounding areas since 1973. We are currently seeking a dedicated man or woman to join our team as a Construction Project Superintendent with 5 yrs. min. of experience as a Sr. Superintendent and have experience in projects of at least $3 million. Majority of projects are in Oklahoma City Metro area, some travel is required depending on location of project. Project Superintendent Responsibilities:

• Must have skills in layout, people management, scheduling, and organization.
• Procurement and purchasing of materials throughout the project
• Coordination with vendors, suppliers, subcontractors and the Project Manager.
• Ability to generate and understand a project schedule
• Expected to coordinate between the different team members including project manager, subcontractors, architect, client, vendors and 3rd party consultants.
• Will be responsible for all phases of assigned projects from preconstruction planning to construction to punch list and final signoff/closeout.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to read, interpret and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Able to read and interpret Architectural, Structural, MEP and Civil drawings and specifications.
• Min. 5 years of experience as a Sr. Project Superintendent
• Strong organizational skills to track, maintain and follow up throughout the project to ensure that critical task are being completed per the drawings/specifications and on schedule.
• Ability to manage time effectively, efficiently and know how to prioritize task.
• Must be proficient on the computer with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly and effectively.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and lead a team of contractors.
• Able to manage relationships with clients, contractors, local inspectors & code officials, etc.
• Able to perform quantity take-offs and convert typical units of measure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Must have a driver’s license and clean driving record.
