School Superintendent directs and manages a school district. Oversees all aspects of the district's operational policies, objectives, initiatives. Being a School Superintendent is responsible for the attainment of short- and long-term financial and operational goals for the school system. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, School Superintendent typically reports to top management. May require a master's degree. The School Superintendent manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. We are currently looking for an experienced heavy civil Superintendent to join our San Diego Area team. The person in this position will manage, schedule, and coordinate all company on-site activities, subcontractors and suppliers.

Competencies
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or experience.
Experience
8 years’ experience with extensive knowledge of construction techniques.
