Appointment Type: This is a Permanent Exempt (PEX), full-time position for up to three years. This position is excluded by the Charter from the competitive Civil Service examination process, is considered "at will" and shall serve at the discretion of the appointing officer. If applicable, an exempt employee must participate and be successful in a Civil Service examination process for this classification and be selected through an open competitive recruitment process to be considered for a permanent appointment.
