Location: Shirley, MA US - must reside in the U.S. and be authorized to work in the U.S.

What will you do?

You will report directly to the Lead Shipping Specialist and you will be responsible for executing an incoming QC for all incoming products and shipment of outgoing products. Making sure all packing and shipping supplies are ordered/purchased, maintained, and stocked.

Specific duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Picking and packing all products (from the walk-in freezer) and preparing documentation for each shipment.
• QC and data entry of incoming products
• Arrange the shipment of the orders with the appropriate carrier
• Keep customers informed about stock and shipment status
• Tracking all backorders
• Assist in inventory counting
• Maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Coordinate with other shipping team members to accomplish daily tasks
• Check and record refrigerator and freezer temperatures
• Identify and communicate product/supply non-conformities and/or issues as they arrive with relevant parties
• All work is subject to spot-check for efficiency and compliance with instructions
• Other duties and tasks may be assigned

Someone with a high level of attention to detail. You like to work in a fast pace environment and enjoy working in a small team. You are output driven and are good at prioritizing many different tasks. You have the ability to complete deadline-oriented tasks.

Minimum job requirements:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Candidate will have experience in shipping/receiving department
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong attention to detail with accuracy
• Excellent memory for details
• Sense of urgency in a high-volume work environment
• Adapt quickly to changes
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Able to read fine print and distinguish color coordination
• Strong manual dexterity for small items. (e.g.vials)
• Must be willing to work in a -4F (walk-in freezer) environment for short periods of time (proper PPE provided by employer)
• Is comfortable working in a biohazard environment, practicing good safety habits.
• Ability to commute and be present at the Shirley location.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.16 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
