Under the general direction of the General Lab Supervisor, performs a variety of diagnostic laboratory tests in the Clinical Laboratory to obtain date for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Demonstrates the basic knowledge, skills, and ability to perform a variety of laboratory tests in a timely manner yielding accurate and precise results with a low error rate.
Requirements: AS degree and a minimum of 4 years experience OR BS degree and minimum of 2 years experience. Minimum of 2 years of relevant technical experience required. Nationally recognized certification within 18 months of hire. Once obtained, maintenance of certification is not required. ASCP preferred.
