As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the Agile development process and ensuring the timely
and successful delivery of software projects. You will work closely with the product managers, development teams,
and stakeholders to promote effective communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement. If you have a
strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies, excellent leadership and facilitation skills, and a
passion for driving teams towards success, we want to hear from you. This position is an in-house position.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a facilitator and coach for the Agile development team, promoting adherence to Scrum practices
and values.
- Organize and lead Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and
retrospectives.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration within the team and with stakeholders to ensure clarity of goals, priorities, and requirements.
- Guide and support the development team in self-organization and cross-functionality, helping to remove
any impediments to progress.
- Monitor and track project progress, ensuring that the team is meeting sprint goals and delivering highquality software on time.
- Identify and address potential risks and issues that may impact the successful completion of projects.
- Encourage continuous improvement by promoting a culture of learning, experimentation, and adaptation.
- Coach team members on Agile principles and practices, helping them understand and embrace the Agile
mindset.
- Work closely with the product manager to ensure the backlog is well-groomed, prioritized, and ready for
development.
Experience / Skills Required
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certifications.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, preferably in a software development environment.
- Deep understanding of Agile principles, values, and methodologies, particularly Scrum.
- Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with team
members and stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of software development processes and practices.
- Familiarity with Agile tools and project management software.
- Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams is a plus.
