Scrum Master coordinates a cross-functional Agile development team utilizing the principles and tools of the Scrum Framework. Assumes a servant leadership role to support a self-organized team to complete Scrum projects. Being a Scrum Master identifies and removes impediments to progress. Facilitates sprint planning meetings, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, demos, and retrospectives. Additionally, Scrum Master identifies and manages the backlog. Supports, coaches and mentors team members. Tracks daily sprint progress and maintain schedules. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Typically reports to a director. The Scrum Master occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • The Candidate shall demonstrate Scrum Master experience, particularly in the following areas:
    • Exhibit Lean-Agile leadership and helping team members embrace Agile values, adopting and applying Agile Principles, and implementing Agile practices
    • Promote Agile quality practices so the team can meet its goals. Identify and work to mitigate impediments. Lead and/or support product roadmap development.
    • Facilitate all team meetings, including (but not limited to) the daily stand-up, Iteration Planning, Team Demo, and Iteration Retrospective.
    • Guide the team in estimating the team’s work.
    • Keep the team focused on daily and iteration goals to include achieving results, quality, flow and velocity.
    • Ensure team follows standards developed for code development, automated testing and build procedures.
    • Ensure team follows standards for code version control, quality and documentation. 

      

    General Experience:

    Business Integration Analysts (1s) have been trained in systems development and/or training methodologies and must possess a Top-Secret security clearance.

    Functional Responsibility: Business Integration Analyst (1)s apply their strong analytical and technical skills to assist in implementing business solutions. Business Integration Analysts are directed to exercise core skills on projects, or they may direct small teams. A Business Integration Analyst (1) is qualified to perform tasks such as:

    • Document an organization’s current business process flows.
    • Design, code and test functional components of information systems according to project specifications.
    • Identify and document functional requirements for information systems.
    • Develop project documentation and user training materials according to program specifications.
    • Conduct user training sessions.
    • Prepare communications plans.
    • Produce database extracts.
    • Provide technical support to software development teams.
    • Perform program management support tasks, such as status reporting and work plan maintenance.

     

    Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

    4 years of experience with the following:

    • Perform program management support tasks, such as status reporting and work plan maintenance.
    • Agile Methodologies
    • Scrum
    • Requirements Analysis
    • .NET/Metastorm, BA Mid
