We are seeking a skilled and experienced Master Technician to join our team. As a Master Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing automotive issues, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency in our service department.
Duties:
- Perform automotive diagnostics to identify mechanical and electrical issues
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicles, including powertrain, diesel engines, and other mechanical components
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete repairs
- Weld and fabricate when necessary
- Provide accurate estimates for repair costs and timeframes
- Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair recommendations to customers
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs and services performed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and industry trends
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Master Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues to customers in a clear and understandable manner
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred Skills:
- ASE certifications or equivalent training
- Experience with auto estimating software
- Familiarity with power tools and welding equipment
