Scrum Master, Sr. coordinates a cross-functional Agile development team utilizing the principles and tools of the Scrum Framework. Assumes a servant leadership role to support a self-organized team to complete Scrum projects. Being a Scrum Master, Sr. identifies and removes impediments to progress. Facilitates sprint planning meetings, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, demos, and retrospectives. Additionally, Scrum Master, Sr. identifies and manages the backlog. Supports, coaches and mentors team members. Tracks daily sprint progress and maintain schedules. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Typically reports to a director. The Scrum Master, Sr. work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Under the direction of the Safety Coordinator this position is responsible for helping maintain a safe and secure environment for our employees & guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
● Patrol the campus and respond with appropriate action in the event of fire, emergency weather conditions, or crimes against persons or property
● Remains alert for signs of disorder or tension
● Patrols assigned areas at various intervals for security of buildings and grounds
● Follows or ensures compliance with established security procedures
● Report violations of laws, policies, and safety and security hazards to the EHS Coordinator- Training & Security
● Conduct incident investigations, and complete the required reports
● Provide information to campus visitors upon request
● Monitor campus parking areas and roadways, and enforce traffic/parking regulations by issuing tickets, and/or towing vehicles
● Provide traffic direction as needed
● Assist employees with jump starts, and/or referrals to locksmiths or tow services when requested
● Additional duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by management.
