Pay Rate Range: $52.00 • $57.24/Hour

Scrum Master

• The Scrum Master is a servant-leader for their assigned teams, utilizing Agile principles (including Scrum and Kanban) in creating high-performing team dynamics, and fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and delivery excellence.

Duties include:

• Coaching team Members and Product Owner on Agile principles and best practices.
• Assisting team in clearing obstacles that prevent completion of work.
• Protecting team from outside interruptions and distractions, and from requests not following squad’s intake process and/or not prioritized by the Product Owner.
• Identifying and addressing team dynamics that affect productivity (and escalating if needed).
• Identifying and addressing gaps in team processes and duties.
• Monitoring team board(s) to ensure all required information is completed for Stories and Epics.
• Guiding the team members in self-management and cross-functionality.
• Facilitating team ceremonies (Stand-up, Refinement, Planning/Decomp, Retro).
• Providing feedback on team members.
• Promoting an environment where the team can be effective, promoting continual improvement and experimentation.
