Scrum Master, Sr. jobs in Middlesex, NJ
Scrum Master, Sr. coordinates a cross-functional Agile development team utilizing the principles and tools of the Scrum Framework. Assumes a servant leadership role to support a self-organized team to complete Scrum projects. Being a Scrum Master, Sr. identifies and removes impediments to progress. Facilitates sprint planning meetings, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, demos, and retrospectives. Additionally, Scrum Master, Sr. identifies and manages the backlog. Supports, coaches and mentors team members. Tracks daily sprint progress and maintain schedules. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Typically reports to a director. The Scrum Master, Sr. work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. The Digital Technology Services (DTS) Scrum Master primary duties may include coaching and mentoring the scrum teams in all areas including Scrum Ceremonies like Sprint planning, Retrospective, Sprint Review, Daily stand-up, encouraging collaboration within the scrum team and Product Owners, supporting the team and the Product Owner and helping with communication across Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) network. This role is expected to help the Scrum team remove external and internal blockers/impediments and shield them from external distractions. Should steer the scrum team towards the sprint goals and assist the Product Owner with Backlog refinement. Should be innovators who constantly seek ways to improve themselves and the team.
