Scrum Master, Sr. coordinates a cross-functional Agile development team utilizing the principles and tools of the Scrum Framework. Assumes a servant leadership role to support a self-organized team to complete Scrum projects. Being a Scrum Master, Sr. identifies and removes impediments to progress. Facilitates sprint planning meetings, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, demos, and retrospectives. Additionally, Scrum Master, Sr. identifies and manages the backlog. Supports, coaches and mentors team members. Tracks daily sprint progress and maintain schedules. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Typically reports to a director. The Scrum Master, Sr. work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     Role Summary

    MetaPhase is seeking a Business Analyst with a minimum of five (5) years of experience to be a part of a Federal IT team supporting our clients to transform their business and solve complex problems leveraging a custom-built application. You will be stepping into a well-established team where you can leverage your experience in agile technology delivery for client satisfaction.
     
    Your role will involve running numerous agile ceremonies, keeping the team on track to meet sprint goals and processing numerous IT requests throughout the year. This is a highly client-facing role where you’ll be communicating frequently with stakeholders. Candidates must work effectively in teams, be sharp, creative, well written, and articulate when speaking with senior client leadership.  

    What You Will Be Doing

    • Attend stakeholder meetings to obtain business requirements, offer solutions, and serve as knowledge source for ServiceNow capabilities.
    • Collaborate with teams and clients to develop and maintain a roadmap for the custom platform that aligns with customer transformation objectives and balances technical and business needs.
    • Conduct assessments to determine pros and cons of various technical options in the context of the project portfolio.
    • Identify and solve the core business needs, turning vague or aspirational business requirements into clear and concise requirements.
    • Conduct reviews of submitted IT and business requirements and draft feedback by leveraging best practices, processes, standards, and templates.
    • Determine and document user requirements for business processes and abide by those requirements for future projects

    What We Need From You (Required)

    • Minimum of five (5 ) or more years of experience supporting Management Consulting and/or Technology Transformation efforts; preferably in federal government consulting
    • One (1 ) year of agile project experience with an active Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
    • Possess strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication

    Bonus Points (Desired)

    • One (1 ) or more years of Scrum Master experience

    Work Location

    Currently remote, with possibility for future on-site meetings.

    Education Level

    Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field

    Clearance Level

    An active Secret clearance (or above) is required (NO EXCEPTIONS)
